Congratulations to Officer Whitaker and Mr. Johnson (not pictured)on the "Golden Spoon" Award for the 1st Annual Chili Cook-off competition! We received over 450 food items to donate to the food pantry in Danville!! Thank you students for all your donations!!

Parents of 7th-12th grade students, please watch for a copy of your child's state testing report from the assessments they took last April to come in your mail in the near future. They are being mailed out today. Included with the report is a letter explaining the new test and report, but please email elizabeth.long@danvillecsd.org if you have any additional questions or concerns.

If you need handicap accessible entrance to the Danville musical tonight and Saturday, please park in the elementary lot and enter the Circle Drive doors. The high school parking lot entrance is not handicap accessible due to construction. Pay for tickets in the JH lobby.

A reminder to all junior and senior boys that you are required by law to register with selective service within 30 days of your 18th birthday. You can preregister at 17 years and 3 months. Please register at SSS.gov It is a simple process and takes minutes to do.

Red Ribbon Week for the district continues. Dress Up Day for Friday is Sports Team Day. Also, for the JH and HS we are supporting our Leo Club's effort in supporting the Backpack Program with "Buck a Hat Day" on Friday as well. Grades 7-12 can wear a hat for one dollar.
