Do you have friends or family looking for Preschool opportunities for their child for the 2021-2022 school year? Danville Elementary still has openings in our 4 Year Old Preschool classes for next year. Danville does not charge a monthly tuition for our Preschool classes, just a one time $45 access fee. Our morning and afternoon sessions make the schedule very flexible for parents. In addition, students do not have to live in the Danville School District to attend and parents do not have to complete Open Enrollment papers if you live out of the district. This is a wonderful opportunity for all 4 year old children to gain exposure to school and learn many basic reading and math skills. Contact Alice in the Elementary Office at 319-392-4221 with questions or to hold your child's spot in next year's classes. Prospective students and parents can also attend the Preschool Open House Night on Thursday, May 6th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for an opportunity to visit the Preschool classrooms and meet the staff.

Parents and Students, , We will be doing the ISASP testing over the next couple of weeks. We have included a schedule for the testing dates and times and would appreciate limited absences during the scheduled testing times. We understand that there are pre-planned appointments that cannot be changed, however having the majority of students in testing, without interruption is the best course of action. ISASP testing is for students who are grades 7-11, therefore, any seniors, do not have to be here during testing times. We will have a location for seniors to be supervised if they have a need to attend during the testing times. Any juniors with a release during the testing times are required to attend testing. Testing times are as follows: Monday, April 12th 9:30 -11:00 for all students 7th-11th grade. Tuesday, April 13th, 9:30 - 11:00 for all students, 7th - 11th grade. Wednesday, April 14th - No Testing Thursday, April 15th, 10:30 - 12:20 for all students 7th - 11th grade. Friday, April 16th - No Testing Tuesday, April 20th, 8th grade testing will occur during your students Science class (2nd or 5th hour depending on the section). Students who have a 7th block Science will test during 4th hour. 10th grade testing will occur during your students Biology class (3rd or 5th hour, depending on the section). Students who have an 8th block Biology will test during 4th hour. This has also been sent as an email to all parents and students of Junior/ Senior High.
