Friday, September 27 - Tonight's Freshmen/Sophomore football game at Mt. Pleasant has been cancelled. All freshmen/sophomore players will dress for the varsity game. The varsity game will now kick-off at 6:00. The Mt. Pleasant Homecoming parade is still on starting
at 3:00.
Junior High football practice has been cancelled for tonight - Friday, September 27.

Junior High and High School Picture Day is tomorrow - Tuesday, September 10. Please bring your completed packet and money. If you forget, additional forms will be at school.
Junior High Planners have arrived and will be handed out today in Bear Den. We expect students to have their planner each period, write assignments and other school information in it. Use it for non-school activities. Review your expectations on how you want it used as well.
Junior High and High School PICTURE DAY will be on Tuesday, September 10 from 8:20 until 10:00. Student picture packets will be handed out Thursday, September 5. Additional forms will be in the office as well.

As we set our sites on a long weekend, I want to take this opportunity to thank all those for a great start to the 2019-2020 school year. A new school year presents many opportunities for various beginnings and this year is no exception. As I look around our site, we are witnessing the foundation of our future with this construction and the changes being made in the education of the students. With everything that is taking place we will be faced with many challenges but I am sure we will meet them and move on.
As we approach our first three-day weekend of this year it represents a holiday that was signed into law on June 28, 1894, by President Grover Cleveland at the height of the Industrial Revolution. It is my feelings that this day is for all of us; housewives, farmers, teachers, business owners, law enforcement, firefighters and every single individual that contributes to society. This weekend symbolizes the end of summer for many of us and is celebrated with parties and family get-togethers. You all deserve this time so be safe, have fun, relax and I will see everyone next month!
