It seems very early in the season for such cool temperatures, however the weather has definitely changed. Please make sure your child brings a jacket, hat, and gloves to school each day. Also, it would be very beneficial if parents would label all winter clothing items with your child's name, in case of lost items. Thank you and Go Bears!

The Danville First Tech Challenge robotics team has been working hard building their robot for remote competition this year. FTC students are using tools donated by Rheinschmidt Tile and Marble to create custom pieces for this year's competition robot. We want to thank them for their support of the team.

We have officially rescheduled the Harvest Moon Run for this Saturday, October 10! Race day registration will be held 5:30 to 7:00 on Saturday. Kids races are free, and sign up ends at 6:30, as the kids run at 6:45. The 5K starts at 7:30. Registration will be at the shelter house west of the school; there is no registration on-site Friday. Due to day time building restrictions for outside groups, the National Honor Society-sponsored Blood Drive, which is usually held in November, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 28. They will be bringing their blood drive bus at that time. Plan now to participate. Watch for further information when and where you can sign up to donate.

Reminder for WB VOLLEYBALL GAME TONIGHT 9/29 :For HS home events each participant and coach of an event will be allowed up to 4 reservations for their family. Any other person wanting to attend will also be given up to 4 reservations until capacity is met. Reservations for the Tuesday's HS volleyball game can be made here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSedIwTXPFkV06JGcCiE_dP-z0lIUKywIOG1jyBM2O_WS-7tsA/viewform If you signed up you will be on the list unless told otherwise and it will be printed at 4:00 PM the day of the event. These will be the only people admitted at the gate. West Burlington fans can sit on the west side as well as behind the bench on the SE side and Danville fans can sit behind their bench on the NE side. Any students younger than high school must be with an adult and no loitering in other areas besides their section.
