The HS BASEBALL GAME TONIGHT 6/7 VS PEKIN WILL BE A VARSITY ONLY GAME AT 5:30PM WITH NO JV GAME.
HS BASEBALL WILL PLAY AT BGM Monday June 5 with Varsity starting at 6pm followed by JV. The address to the HS in Brooklyn Iowa is 1090 Jackson Street and the field is located just north of the school. There is a detour on north V18 so you will need to enter from south v18 (just follow detour signs).
Tuesday 5/30/23 JH/HS Softball schedule is going to be played At Danville with the following times 4:15 JH Softball ,5:30 JV Softball followed by Varsity softball.
Tuesday 5/30/23 HS Baseball will be at Danville varsity at 5:30 followed by JV
Tuesday 5/30/23 JH Baseball will be at West Point starting at 5:30pm.

KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP is tomorrow, April 14th for the incoming 2023-2024 kindergarteners. Our current kindergarten class will NOT be in session that day. We look forward to seeing your child back on the 17th.

The JH Coed TRACK Meet scheduled for today 4/4/23 at DANVILLE has been postponed because of the weather predictions.
Good morning everyone,
After attending a webinar with the National Weather Service, I have made the decision out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students and staff that Danville Community School District and Danville Early Learning Center/Daycare will be issuing an early release today at 12:30 due to the threat of severe weather including the potential for tornadoes. The National Weather has placed southeastern Iowa at a Level 5 out of 5 “High Risk” severity for potential strong storms. This is a rare ranking and speaks to the severity of these storms. If you would like to come pick up your student earlier than that you can, but all students will be dismissed at 12:30. We believe dismissing at 12:30 gives us the best chance to get everyone home before the severe storms arrive. We will also be postponing tonight’s Dinner Theater to be combined with the Dinner Theater event on Saturday. More information will be coming from Mrs. Kreps. We know this is an unusual circumstance, but we place the safety of our students and staff as our top priority and do not want to put anyone at an unnecessary risk.

Dinner Theater is March 31 and April 1! The theme this year is “Night at the Movies”. The students have some awesome music sections to perform, including performances of the HS Choir and HS Band, along with performances from Speech, and closing the evening with the Vocal Chords. We also have some amazing donations this year for the silent auction!!

Tomorrow's (Thurs Mar 23rd) HS Boys meet at Washington, will now start at 3:00 PM for field and running events. The bus will depart at 1:00 PM from the High School parking lot.
Parent Teacher Conferences are next week! Tuesday 03/14/23, Wednesday 03/15/23 & Thursday 03/16/23 are 2:00PM dismissals. No School Friday 03/17/23.
