Good morning everyone, Danville Schools will not have school today due to the incoming winter weather. I was on a webinar with the National Weather Service at 4:30 this morning and just got back from driving roads. Although the roads are okay currently, they are predicting incoming ice and sleet in addition to the 3-5 inches of snow. The timing also shows the highest snowfall potential from 8:00-2:00 and the snow isn't predicted to end until 7:00-10:00pm. This means if we were to come into school, I don't feel it'd be safe to call an early dismissal. So with the safety of our students and staff in mind, have a great snow day and stay safe!

Good morning everyone, Danville Schools will be on a two hour delay today. We will keep the normal Wednesday early release time of 2:00, which we know might seem odd, but we think it helps minimize the changes in routines for families, allows us to still count the day/hours of school, and keeps us on track with our staff professional development plans and after school activities. We will keep monitoring the situation and if anything changes will update everyone.
