The youth YSF 3/4 and 5/6 grade football players will be recognized at halftime Friday 9/15/23 at the LM Varsity Football game.Players will be admitted free if wearing their YSF jersey and will need to meet in front of the home stands on the field at halftime along with the coaches.

The JV Football game scheduled for Monday 9/11/23 has been changed. Danville will now travel to Cardinal instead of Pekin. 6pm start time.
The CC Country meet today 9/5 at VBC has been cancelled (heat related ) and will not be rescheduled.

If you have a daughter who is playing junior high volleyball, there will be a parent meeting tomorrow evening (Thursday, August 31) right after practice at 5:30 PM. Parents, you are asked to come to the junior high gym so that coaches can go over some important information with you. It will only last 10-15 minutes. Please plan to attend, if possible.

A mural completed by senior student Mei Foster over the summer at First Crossing! Mei began this project last year as part of an independent study course in Art and finished it over the summer. She went through several design iterations and settled on the “MUG SHOTS” image you see here. Lots of hard work from this Bear!
If you are a senior and planning on participating in a sport this year and would like a senior poster we will be taking pictures Friday 8/18/23 in the HS gym at 6pm-6:30pm.
The Senior Banner Poster pictures will be taken on Friday August 18 in the HS Gym between 6pm-6:30pm. If interested please get your choice of a uniform from the Head coach prior to the pictures.
Reminder that the youth volleyball camp will start today Wednesday 8/9 and run through Friday 8/11 with camp times at 12:30pm-2:30pm in the HS GYM.
For any 7th or 8th grade girls who want to play JH volleyball this year, practice will start on the first day of school. Practices will normally run from 3:45-5:30 PM. There is no sign-up/registration form. The girls will just need to show up on the first day of practice, which will be on Wednesday, August 23, from 3:45-5:30 PM. We will collect all player names and other information on that first day. bring your physicals and concussion forms.
