Who's ever wanted to bring their imagination to life? Well, 1st graders in Mrs. March's class had the opportunity to do just that! Ms. Weirup's 8th grade family and consumer science class and Mrs. Konig's junior high student volunteers partnered up to create monsters with 1st grade. Ms. Weirup's class interviewed Mrs. March's 1st grade class and had them draw the monsters. The colored pictures then traveled to Mrs. Konig's class where her students interviewed the same first graders to create a custom story about each monster. Ms. Weirup's class then turned the pictures into a real monster stuffy! Today we all got back together to present the projects and read the stories to Mrs. March's 1st grade students! #WeAreDanville #BearNation
