As we set our sites on a long weekend, I want to take this opportunity to thank all those for a great start to the 2019-2020 school year. A new school year presents many opportunities for various beginnings and this year is no exception. As I look around our site, we are witnessing the foundation of our future with this construction and the changes being made in the education of the students. With everything that is taking place we will be faced with many challenges but I am sure we will meet them and move on. As we approach our first three-day weekend of this year it represents a holiday that was signed into law on June 28, 1894, by President Grover Cleveland at the height of the Industrial Revolution. It is my feelings that this day is for all of us; housewives, farmers, teachers, business owners, law enforcement, firefighters and every single individual that contributes to society. This weekend symbolizes the end of summer for many of us and is celebrated with parties and family get-togethers. You all deserve this time so be safe, have fun, relax and I will see everyone next month! Yours in education and GO BEARS!!!
Any high school student interested in being in Yearbook can come to a meeting during lunch on Thursday, September 5. We will meet the new advisor in the high school commons.
